Compare and Contrast cultures around the world and develop a tolerance towards different cultures. (Connect through Twitter/create a "travel" video of Do's and Don't's as if a person was traveling to a different country).
Learn the different texts and language formats of cultures, even stories. (Go to library and pick a multicultural children's book (Ex: Lon Po Po: A Red-Riding Hood Story from China by Ed Young), then students will create their own book using a technology tool.)
